Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect?

Good question! There are 4 parts to the massage: paperwork, consultation, massage, and wrap up.

Paperwork: There is some paperwork to do online before your appointment. There will be a link to fill it out in an e-mail after booking your appointment, so keep an eye out for that!

Consultation: You will sit down with a therapist and discuss what’s bringing you in, health considerations, what you would like to accomplish in the session, and recommendations for how to make that happen.

Massage: The best part! This is a time for you to have permission to let go and just focus on how you feel.

Wrap up: After your massage there will be a conversation on how you responded to the session, self-care to do at home, and recommendations for follow up sessions.

The best massage is one where YOU are comfortable. A technique might feel amazing to you, and just so-so to someone else. We strongly encourage you to give feedback during your session so your Muscle Therapist can tailor techniques to what most helps you alleviate your pain. He/she will take specific notes on what you like so sessions get better and better as they learn how to best serve you. No one technique is the end all be all, so we blend techniques to fit your needs and decrease pain. The main reason for our T3M session.

Nope! The best massage is where you feel comfortable. So, if wearing yoga pants and a T-shirt or leaving underwear on makes you feel comfortable, then by all means wear them! If you feel comfortable getting fully undressed, that okay too. Your Muscle Therapist is trained to keep you draped and modest the whole time. At no time would your private areas be exposed.

We do accept HSA or FSA (health savings account or flexible spending account) Most insurance companies rarely reimburse a provider for massage therapy.
